PLANNED CONSTRUCTION:

From January 24 through January 28, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:

  • Repairing potholes on I-91 NB and I-691 EB
  • Pouring of concrete for abutment 1 & 2 on the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
  • Milling of I-691 EB and the I-691 EB off ramp to I-91 NB

The week of January 28 through February 3, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:

  • Demolition of bridge membrane and sound decks on the I-691 EB bridges over:
    • I-91
    • Bee Street
    • The ramp from I-691 WB (Route 66) to I-91 SB
  • Installation of south backwalls and wingwalls for the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
  • Filling to grade of the Route 66 WB (I-691 WB) off ramp to I-91 NB and the bridge on the Exit ramp from I-691 EB over I-91 NB (I-691 EB Exit 1A)
  • Stripping the topsoil, boxout and place process material for the widening of I-91 NB (north of the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue)

The week of February 5 through February 9, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:

  • Continue the installation of south backwalls and wingwalls for the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
  • Continue filling  to grade the Route 66 WB Exit 1A ramp – (Route 66 WB [I-691 WB] off ramp to I-91 NB) and the I-691 EB Exit 1A bridge on the Exit ramp from I-691 EB over I-91 NB
  • Continue stripping the topsoil, boxout and place process material for the widening of I-91 NB (north of the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue)
  • Partial deck patching on the I-691 EB bridges over:
    • I-91
    • Bee Street
    • The ramp from I-691 WB (Route 66) to I-91 SB
  • Install a silt fence, and clearing materials and stripping the topsoil in the soundwall area
  • Demolition of the first span on the I-691 EB Exit 1A bridge on Exit ramp from I-691 EB over I-91 NB

DETOURS

There will be no planned detours from Wednesday, January 24 to Friday, February 9, 2024.
