PLANNED CONSTRUCTION:
From December 5 through December 22, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Widening Bridge 03051 (Baldwin Avenue) – foundation work
- Widen I-91 NB in the median
The week of December 5 through December 9, during daytime hours, crews will be conducting the following activities:
- Pave I-91 NB off-ramp to Route 66 EB and Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Survey activities on I-91 NB for utility work and Bridge 03051 widening (Baldwin Avenue)
The week of December 5 through December 9, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Concrete haunch removal
- Removal of the temporary barrier at Baldwin Avenue
- Shift traffic into temporary ramps from I-91 NB off-ramp to Route 66 EB and Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Install pavement markings on ramps and travel lanes
The week of December 10 through December 16, during daytime hours, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Partial demolition of parapets and safety rail work on I-691 EB bridges (Bridge 01835, 01836 and 01830)
- Strip the topsoil at south abutment of Bridge 01837 (off-ramp from I-691 EB to I-91 NB over Route 66 WB)
- Tree clearing within project limits
- Survey activities at the noise wall
The week of December 17 through December 22, during daytime hours, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Create construction vehicle access to abutment one at Bridge 01837 (off-ramp from I-691 EB to I-91 NB over Route 66 WB)
